Composting Toilets

Alright I’m not sugesting switching you home’s toilets for composting toilets, but these things do have some advantages over traditional ones. They are great for camping, cottages, RV’s or other places or homes that don’t have city sewers. They come with a pricetag but its cost can be justified when you concider the money you would save building a septic system at your cottage.

We’ll just thought I’d throw this one at you for the sake of the environment even though I’m noy completely sold on them. Perhaps someone who has used one of these things could comment on their performance.

I have a SunMar composting toilet and im completely satisfied with it. It has far exceeded my expectations and I think everyone should invest in this type of system. The product is great, it has a drum that you rotate via a handle to mix the compost and the unit does not emit any odor. I recommend it, check out their website if you would like http://www.sun-mar.com

Actually they are excellent for the environment and very workable in homes..There are even some businesses that are using them. You might be interested in the article I wrote on it a few days ago..
